“Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
‘I will try again tomorrow.”

– Mary Anne Radmacher

The ability to speak with purpose and confidence will be critical if you plan to persuade and influence others.  Developing this ability is what Purpose-Centered Public Speaking is all about.

This workshop will focus on building critical skills that will enable you to be purpose driven and focused.  Over the one-day class, you will give a number of brief talks to refine the work done in class.  These topics will be defined in the class and presented in a large group and small group format.

Please note that this workshop is not about striving for perfection.  Instead, it is designed to equip you with a structured format that you can present to any group on any topic.  Don’t worry that the talk isn’t polished or that it won’t have funny stories.  We will help you create them during the day.  Relax and enjoy this chance to hone your public speaking skills.

The workshop will start promptly at 8:30am and finish by 4:30pm.  Because every step is built off of the previous step, we ask that you be focused and present for the entire day.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make this day more memorable for you.
